Our Story. Four Friends, 30 Years of Passion and a Dream Come True

It all started around a kitchen table...

More than 30 years ago, our story began. Not in a big boutique, nor in a professional workshop, but simply around a small kitchen table, with a few pieces of fabric, needles, thread and a lot of dreams.

We are four friends who have known each other since our youth. We grew up together, shared our most beautiful memories and stood by each other through both the joyful and more challenging moments of life.

But there was always one thing that brought us together: our love of creativity, beautiful fabrics and the joy of making something special with our own hands.

What started as beautiful afternoons spent choosing fabrics, imagining patterns and making our first bags slowly became something we never dared to imagine.

From a little hobby to ChezSoofy

At first, we mostly made bags for ourselves, our families and our friends.

We still remember the happiness we felt when someone admired a bag we had designed. Sometimes, people would ask us where they could get one.

That's when we started to dream a little bigger.

What if we could share our passion for bag-making with other women?

And that is how, little by little, ChezSoofy was born.

A boutique that didn't start with big plans or large budgets, but with a dream nurtured by friendship, patience and a love of craftsmanship.

We learned, made mistakes, started over and refined our creations over the years.

But one thing never changed: the joy we felt each time a new design finally came to life.

Our inspiration comes from life's small pleasures

When you discover our bags, you'll quickly understand what we hold dear.

The magnificent colors of flowers in the garden. A butterfly passing by on a beautiful sunny afternoon. Birds singing in the trees. A loyal dog or a curious little cat that makes us smile.

These are the small everyday moments that have inspired us for over 30 years.

We never wanted to make simple bags.

We wanted to create something that would make a woman smile the moment she laid eyes on it.

A bag that isn't just practical, but that also reflects her personality. Something colorful, warm and unlike what you find everywhere else.

That's why our collections are filled with designs inspired by animals, flowers and the beautiful patterns of nature.

Each design tells, in its own way, a little story.

What makes ChezSoofy so precious to us isn't just the bags.

It's above all the memories we've created together over the years.

The countless conversations around the kitchen table. The fits of laughter over creations that didn't quite turn out as we had imagined. The joy of finally finding the perfect fabric.

And of course, those deeply touching moments when we discovered that our creations had become part of other women's everyday lives.

Over the years, many things have changed. Our lives have evolved, our families have grown and the world around us has become increasingly busy.

But our friendship and our love of making have always remained the same.

ChezSoofy has thus become much more than a shop. It is a part of our lives and our story.

A bag to love for years

We believe that the most beautiful things shouldn't only be pleasant to look at. They should also have special meaning.

A bag accompanies you through life's big and small moments.

At the Saturday morning market. At a dinner with friends. During a family visit. Or simply on a little walk around the neighborhood.

That's why we love soft, quilted fabrics, joyful colors and designs that radiate warmth.

Our greatest wish is that every woman who carries a ChezSoofy bag can not only enjoy it, but also create beautiful memories with it.

Perhaps one day it will even become a bag she passes on to someone she loves.

A new chapter: gently moving toward retirement

After more than 30 wonderful years of creativity, friendship and love for bag-making, we sense that a new chapter in our lives is quietly approaching.

The years pass, and we have decided together that it is time to gently start thinking about retirement.

It isn't an easy decision.

How do you begin to turn the page on something into which you've put so many years of your life, so much love and so many memories?

In each bag, we find a small piece of our story.

But we also look back on the journey we've traveled with immense gratitude.

And it is precisely for that reason that we don't want our last bags to sit in a warehouse.

We want them to find a new home full of love, with women who will enjoy wearing them as much as we enjoyed creating them.

If someone had told us, 30 years ago, that our little hobby would one day become ChezSoofy, we probably would have had a hard time believing it.

We are infinitely grateful to every woman who has admired our creations, bought one of our bags or taken the time to leave us a kind message.

It is thanks to you that our little dream became something so much bigger.

And even as we gently move toward retirement, we will always cherish the wonderful memories and the love we have for our creations.
